The Production Studios create spaces where information and communication skills can be used to learn, practice, apply, and display the products and skills created by critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and technological fluency.

The Production Studios are a unique environments because they offer a range of different ways to learn and think.

They offer learning for all ages, and at a range of times throughout the day.

The studios maintain the greatest flexibility of programming and resources by having a broadly skilled staff who are capable of working in all environments. The purpose of this flexibility is to continue to respond to community needs, whishes, and issues.

Meet Matthew

Name: Matthew

TAC Activities: Resume

Duration: Matthew started coming into the TAC two weeks ago.

Frequency: He comes in about every 3 days.

Occupation: Handiman; salesman representative, eventually wants to become a minister

Bio: Eight months ago, one wouldn't recognize Matthew as he is today. He was addicted to drugs and living on the streets. His parents passed away when he was a child and because of an abusive living situation, ran away from his new guardian when he was 11 years old. He stayed with friends and on the streets. Drugs became a part of his lifestyle, until he found faith and turned his life around through the "Step 2" program. He's from Union City, but came to East Palo Alto four months ago to work on the Recovery Project of New Sweet Home in East Palo Alto. He likes to help people and wants to help people recover their own lives.
